Rey Mysterio:September 7, 2008 - October 26, 2008 After the brand split Smackdown was looking for its own champions at Unforgiven the vacant United States Championship was up for grabs between JTG and Rey Mysterio. JTG was no match for JC's littlest big man when Rey hit the 619 and became the first United States Champion.

Randy Orton:October 5, 2008 - October 26, 2008 At No Mercy Randy Orton challanged Rey Mysterio for the United States championship. They both battled all over the ring until out of nowhere The Legend Killer hits an RKO and pins to win the title.

The Rock:October 26, 2008 - December 2, 2008 Randy Orton certainly didn't have the upper hand going into Cyber Sunday as he didn't know who he had to compete againt. Ted DiBiase and The Rock were voted in and all three men fought there hardest but by the end of the match it was The Rock who won the United States Championship.

Matt Hardy:December 14, 2008 - January 10, 2009 With the United States Championship now vacant after The Rock was drafted to Raw. Edge and Matt Hardy faced in an Iron Man Match and with one point each Matt Hardy got a quick pin with a few seconds left to earn the win.

Ted DiBiase Jr.January 10, 2009 - March 8, 2009 On the January 10th episode of Smackdown Matt Hardy had to defend his championship against an unknown competitor. Then as he was waiting to see his opponent would be Ted DiBiase came out and made his debut on Smackdown and captured the United States Championship.

Raven:March 8, 2008 - March 27, 2009 At Last Chance Raven faced Legacy member Ted DiBiase in a match for the United States Championship and a spot in the Money In The Bank Ladder match at WrestleMania. There was so much up for grabs in the match and both men fought the hardest but it seemed Raven wanted it just that little bit more as he walked out as new United States Champion and with a spot in the Money In The Bank match.

AJ Styles:March 27, 2009 - April 26, 2009 On the March 27 episode of Smackdown Raven had not only his United States Championship on the line but his Money In The Bank ladder match spot as well, in a 2 out of 3 falls match. The person to get the first pin won the United States title and the person to get the second pin won the Money In The Bank spot. AJ Styles picked up the first pin winning him his first taste of gold in JC as the new United States Champion.

Chris Jericho:April 26, 2009 - July 8, 2009 In a triple threat match where the winner got a WWE Title shot and the man who doesn't get pinned gets a United States Title shot, Y2J was the man who didn't get pinned then at Backlash faced AJ Styles for the Championship. Styles put up a hard fight but was no match for the veteran, Chris Jericho.

Batista:July 8, 2009 - July 15, 2009 Coming into Raw, Batista thought he just had a ordinary non title match. But Teddy Long came out and announced that Chris Jericho would be defending the United States Title there that night. After a thunderous Batista Bomb, Batista got the three count and became the new United States Champion, shocking the former champion Jericho.

Jeff Hardy:July 15, 2009 - September 13th 2009 What started with a King of the Ring match which Batista won, ended up in Jeff Hardy cashing in his Feast of Fired briefcase which was given to him by Victoria and guarantees him a shot at any mid-card title. After a small second match Jeff Hardy left Raw with the United States Championship.

Alex Shelley:September 13th 2009- October 4, 2009 After becoming friends with Taylor Wilde, and investing a rivalry with Jeff Hardy because of it, Alex Shelley walked out with the JCW United States Championship at Breaking Point

Kane:October 4, 2009 - November 1, 2009 Alex was the obvious underdog going into his championship match against Kane at Hell in the Cell and even though he has the heart and all the right talent to be in this business it was no match for Kane's size and power.

The Brian Kendrick:November 1, 2009 - January 7, 2010 With four possible opponents at Cyber Sunday, Kane had a disadvantage as he didn't know who he had to face. Out of the four possible superstars it was the cocky, young new comer The Brian Kendrick who got voted in to face Kane. After a back and forth match it would be Kendrick winning his first championship in JCW.

Dolph Ziggler:January 7, 2010 - March 28, 2010 After the release of Brian Kendrick from JCW, the number one contender match between Jeff Hardy and Dolph Ziggler turned into a match for the United States Championship. Former champion Jeff, fought the newcomer his hardest but it was Dolph to take away his first championship in JC.

Zack Ryder:March 28, 2010 - March 28, 2010 WrestleMania saw alot of the championships in unification matches and this was the same or the United States and Intercontinental Titles. Dolph Ziggler and Zack Ryder fought a hard battle with the winner sure being known as the future of the business. It would be Zack Ryder who walks out with both titles and unified them into the Intercotinental Title.
