This match is a scheduled Iron Man Match and it is for the United States Championship! On his way to the ring, he is the Man Who Will Not Die, Matt Hardy!
and his opponent, he is the Rated R Superstar Edge!
They both circle the ring, both staring, they finally close in and tie up, Edge pulls him in for a side-headlock but Matt reverses into a hammer lock. Matt pushes Edge into the corner and clotheslines him. he then grabs him by the head and pulls him down for a bulldog. Matt goes to the second rope and wait for Edge to get up. When he does Matt does the V1 and jumps down for an elbow drop but Edge spins out of the way and hits a DDT. They both climb to their feet and trade blows. Edge gets the upper hand and Irish whips Matt to the ropes across the ring, on rebound Edge goes for a clothesline but Matt ducks and continues to the ropes and on rebound hits a forearm smash to Edge. Edge gets up quickly and turns around to a Side Effect
1..2..3! One point for Matt Hardy!
Matt gets up and studies Edge thinking of his next move. he then picks Edge up by the head and throws him to the ropes and trips him up on rebound. he then pulls Edge into the Boston Crab. Matt pulls hard as Edge attempts to reach the ropes. Edge pulls him away however. Suddenly Matt pulls himself in the opposite direction and with impressive leg strength pulls Matt back wards into a cradle.
1..2..3! One point for Edge!
Edge looks shocked as he grabs the ropes while pulling himself to his feet. He then turns around to a clothesline sending him over the top rope. Matt slides out after Edge and slams his head into the security wall. He then Irish whips Edge toward the steps but Edge reverses sending Matt crashing to the steel. Edge slams his head into top of the stairs then throws him into the ring as the ref counts 7. Edge picks up Matt and Irish whips him to the ropes and goes for a clothesline on rebound but Matt ducks and bounces off the opposite ropes but Edge raises his leg and Matt flies into his boot. Edge runs to the Corner and stalks Matt for the Spear. he yells at him to get up and when he does Edge runs at him but Matt dives out of the way and Edge smacks into the mat. Edge in a pin gets to his feet and turns around to the Side Effect. Matt is about to get the pin when Gangrel runs down and starts yelling at Matt. Matt walks over and yells back and stomps at his hand but Gangrel pulls it out just in time. Matt points and yell at him again then turns back to Edge who goes for a sudden spear but Matt kicks him in the head. Edge bounces back and Matt pulls him in at the clock has 10 seconds left. He then goes for a twist of Fate but Edge reverses and goes for a DDT but Matt reverses again and hits a Twist of Fate and pins with 3 seconds
2nd point for Matt! 1.. second!
Here is your winner, and new United States Champion, Matt Hardy!
